How do I become mentally strong?
"All mental disorders are curable. From depression to anxiety to sleep and many others. Provided you act in time."
Mental Health. After sex, the next taboo subject.
Despite the fact that as per a WHO 2001 report, one in four families is likely to have at least one member with a behavioral or mental disorder (WHO 2001). People are more focused on physical fitness, mental health is largely ignored. Even as the consequences of ignoring mental health issues can be disastrous, even fatal in some cases. Sample this: A June 2022 WHO report estimated that one in every eight individuals worldwide suffers from a mental disorder. And over 90% of these remain untreated – either because of poor awareness about symptoms of mental illness or because of myths & stigma related to it.

Find Your Key To A Better Life
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
is a talking therapy that helps people manage their problems by changing the way they think and behave. Mostly used in cases of anxiety & depression, can also be used in other mental health problems.
Yoga & Meditation Therapy
Yoga, the ancient Indian spiritual system, works at two levels – the mind and the body. Many yoga asanas take the person into a meditative state. A combination of meditation & yoga helps people not only with mental disorders, it also helps augment mental abilities.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
It is used to treat physical pain and emotional distress. It’s also referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure.
Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP)
It works on the understanding that there is a connection between neurological processes (neuro-), language (linguistic) and acquired behavioural patterns (programming), and that these can be changed to achieve life goals.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
A 40-year old single mother, Pune
(Name & picture not revealed on request)
“I was introduced to Poonam after my divorce. I had been married for over ten years, had two kids but things had gone sour in marriage. I had to work, take care of my two kids and fight my way through depression. Poonam counselled me; in fact, she would chase me every time I would miss a session or want to cancel one. Its thanks to her that I am now doing very well in my career and my kids are growing up very well even as their father is not around.”
Senior Sales Manager, FMCG Co.

“I was heading a large region, had over 100 people reporting to me apart from my channel partners. Work stress was taking its toll, it was creating issues at work as well as home. Before I knew it, I wasn’t the confident performer at work or a responsible family member. My friends saw this change and one of them persuaded me to meet Poonam. The rest, as they say, is history. I am now back with a bang, the same man I originally was.”
Retired Government Officer, Pune

I had lost my wife to cancer just three weeks after it was detected. The two of us had practically grown up together, having met when we were in our teens and had a very happy married life of nearly 50 years. I lost it when she passed away, almost suddenly. My daughter-in-law almost forcibly took me to Poonam. The initial sessions of counselling were tough on me as it wasn’t easy for me to open up to a stranger, especially to one so many years younger to me. Slowly, however, my journey to my old self began and today I feel fine even as I do miss my late wife a lot.”
