My 5 tried and tested ways to bring wishes to life using the ‘Law of Attraction’

As you read this, powerful forces are guiding and influencing your life in ways you may not even be aware of - the most powerful among them is the Law of Attraction. There is always something at work, and this affects your life in more ways than you can ever imagine. As soon as you become aware of this universal law, you can begin to use it to change your life.

The thing is: You are always creating.

So what exactly is the ‘Law of Attraction’ and how does it work you’d ask. Here is what the concept stands for.

As per the law of attraction, you will attract whatever you focus into your life. The energy and attention you put into something will most certainly come back to you. You will automatically attract more positive things into your life when you focus on the abundance of good things in your life. But if you are only concerned with what you lack in life and focus only on what you lack, you will ultimately attract more negativity into your life, and what you most want will continue to evade you.


Here are the 3 basic principles which Law of Attraction is based upon.


Principle 1: Whatever it is that you want, ask the universe for it

The universe, as well as your subconscious mind, receives requests from you every day in the form of thoughts. All that you give your attention to, talk about and read about is basically being communicated to the universe. This is what you’re asking for to the universe. Hence it becomes super essential for you to become more mindful and conscious about the conversations and thoughts you’re putting out to the universe. The more focused and clearer you are about your intentions and wants, the easier it will be for you to actually attract those very things in your life.


For instance, let us assume you want to recover from a major illness, have your own TV show, win a major professional award, move to another state, want to change careers or want to get married.


The focus must be on things that you do wish to do instead of the things you do not wish for.

Think about the goal, about how you’d feel once you’ve achieved it, about what would you do after the achievement, about who would you share the experience with.


Principle 2: Believe Believe Believe

To achieve or succeed, you must believe that it is possible! It isn’t enough to simply focus on what you want. Doubts will only invite negative thoughts and energies, and as I mentioned earlier, negative is a big no-no. What doubts or negative thoughts do is send mixed signals to the universe. And again, as I said, what you send is what you shall receive. If you’re sending mixed signals, you’ll receive precisely that.


Limiting your beliefs will stop you from achieving the abundance & happiness you wish for. Hence get rid of the limitations and inculcate belief in your system.


If you ought to be someone who is apprehensive about believing and find it difficult, I would encourage you to start working on adopting a more positive approach. Work on understanding the fact that you are totally capable, desirable, lovable, worthy and deserving of all things you wish to achieve.


Principle 3: Receive

You can only receive what you desire by becoming a ‘vibrational match’ with what you’re trying to attract in your life. By expressing love, joy, appreciation, and gratitude throughout the day, you are going to achieve that goal with ease. As a practice, you can also feel the emotions you would feel if what you want was already yours. Imagining these feelings will activate your subconscious mind to make them real. Additionally, remember that action is what will bring you results. Consistent action will move you closer to your goals for sure.


Lastly here are my 5 tried and tested ways to bring wishes to life using the ‘Law of Attraction’

  1. Your reality is determined by your thoughts: You must start by transforming your thoughts in order to bring a transformation in your life. An attitude of gratitude is the mantra you must abide by in order to attract the good and positive things you wish to attract in your life.

  2. Have high ambitions: It is only the big dreams that will bring big results. As I’ve repeatedly mentioned, the universe responds to the energies that we send out and hence sending out the right energies is the key.

  3. Use positive affirmations every day: It is positive affirmations that help your energy, actions and thoughts to be focused on the highest goals. You activate your subconscious mind when you affirm your goals as already being accomplished.

  4. Think clearly and have clarity of thought: Clear results are achieved through clearer visions.

  5. Make use of vision boards: Clarifying your vision for your life and keeping your goals in the forefront of your mind helps you effortlessly attract them into your life.
